i downloaded the youtube file, but when i click on a video it says, "Cannot perform the requested action at this time". That is the same thing it said before i downloaded the file. Anything special i am supposed to do to it?

not sure, I just reflash to the offical rom, and then tested out the youtube files that i posted on this page, and i got them to play right away, so i didnt do anything except for install the 2 files and then it worked.

still cant see the WMP file.
what is the YT listed as in remove programs. SPC-Nooski maybe?

okay, i took the hidden mark off it. Then i went to install and everything install, so give it a try.

yeah it will be something like SPC-Nookski or something.

Okay, i am getting to where i hate even attempting this stuff because i never can get it to work. It is (the youtube file) on my device and i figured out how to find out what is wrong and it says it was not successfully downloaded because it did not come from a reliable source. Something to that nature anyway. grrrrrrrr

Downloading it to my computer, then syncing it to my device. The files are on the device and i run the zip on them, but it will not completely load. Says it is from an unknown source, not a reliable source, something like that.

try opening up the zip file on your computer, and then drag the cab files inside to your device through active sync.

When active sync is syncing there is an explore button in the middle of the screen called Explore, if you have the zip file open on computer, you can just drag the cab files inside right to your device, this will store them in your "my documents" folder.

still no luck with gps fix. the HTC Diagnostic Interface is showing com7 but when i try to add new port the only option is com6. im lost and i dont wanna screw anything up.

that is understandable, I will see if i can get better tutorial for you to follow, I am trying to go off what i remember when i did it, but I will go through and look at it all again.
