I am not seeing any real slow down, The thing I am doing is sorting out some of the files into /program files/htc home or /manilla2d this will keep the some of the files out of the windows folder. And then I will share the weather icons, so they will work side by side, and have different folders.

This will keep the windows folder cleaner, and also might help a little with speed.

Maybe I will do a special with just all 3 different versions, so you can choose the one you want.

I will have to see, right now I have 2 other projects so dont expect this right away.


I am working now on collecting all different keyboards and creating a thread for them that way. then you dont have to search everywhere, because all the keyboards will be in once place.



Here are 2 cabs for youtube. The one is the actual youtube found in my manilla roms, the other is youtube play, found in my earlier roms.

thanks man, your the best! iv not seen any other threads where the developers are as helpful and quick to get back to you as you are. take all the time you need, Im sure it'll be worth the wait.

im installing this on my wifes touch, she wants the official rom update. Do I still need to run both .cabs?

no you just need to YT.cab. I have had others in the past ask about the Youtubeplay.cab so that is why i included it in there. I will start to upload all of the cab files I have to my FTP folder, so everyone can enjoy them.

I am of the same opinion in that I only need the sounds tab because I do use it everyday. I still have a few questions about the manilla set-up that I am trying to get used to.

1. Is there a way to get the photo tab to link to a different folder for the preview pictures that show up?
2. Is there a volume contgrol on the music tab?
3. Is there a way to make it so that when you click on your weather your can get more detailed information, like what can be done with weather panel?

Thanks for the work that has been put into this and I look forward to the next release.

Click on Album in the bottom left corner. then click on Albums in bottom left corner. (And then you might have to wait a minute or two for your storage card to show up, try closing it out and going back) Once everything is up, click on storage card or my device, and scroll to the picture folder you would like to use. once you have selected that press menu, and then "Set album as Favorite" this should save it then.

In the manilla music tab there is no volume, the screen shot you see is from Windows Media Player


I do not think there is, if there is i have not come across it yet, if i find anything i will post it here and let you know.

Well... at times I miss the 'single click' access to the message list and I for sure wish I could change the softkeys inside M2D but the way I see it is I'll be moving to the Diamond at some point... and it's running TF3D so I may as well go ahead and get used to this layout and setup.
