Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

Has anyone had a problem with the animated splash screen not showing up? Since using 20270, and I've gone back to a few other versions, the splash screen (third one in the series) does not show up.

I can't get it to work at all now. Previously it did.

I've been poking around in Carriers_Vogue.rar and found in the "Carriers_Telecom_NZ" directory that the option.xml seems to have some corruption in the first couple of bytes. Also the directory contains a cab file "signed_080515_7500_Telus_2.05.sa.CAB" which I can't imagine why that would be added to TNZ and not in the Telus directory (someone get confused between the two carriers perhaps?)

I can see mxipupdate_tnz_100.provxml & mxipupdate_tnz_101.provxml look to have the correct info in them but they don't seem to be doing anything when I cook a ROM.

Any assistance greatly appreciated - also it would be nice to add the correct Telecom NZ splash screen and animation as previously attached.

Cheers, Tim

When I said previously I meant with version 20226 and 19588.

I'm most happy to assist with the carrier settings for Telecom NZ if you need further information. Attached is the splashscreen and startup animation.

Cheers, Tim
Oops, sorry, I was thinking of another carrier I think. Anyway, let me know what other settings need to be changed.

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

Is there a way that I can use my old selection file but use the new 20270 without having to redo all my options?

Thanks!

Re: Vogue 20270 GPS kitchen

Has anyone using Bell Mobility Carrier gotten all their programs that they've installed to appear in the "remove programs" list? I didn't get it to work and I was going to try that registry edit found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=365227
after another try at reflashing. However, I accidentally selected ISUACell as the carrier instead of Bell Mobility and when I installed programs it actually showed in the "remove programs" list. I then reflashed since I didn't know if having ISUACell as my carrier is a bad thing when I'm with Bell Mobility. Well, I reflashed and installed programs, and the programs is not listed. Everything else that I've selected to be in the rom is the same from when it appeared with ISUACell as when I had Bell Mobility. I'm thinking there's something wrong when Bell Mobility is selected. I've read somewhere others were having this problem and it seems to affect Bell people. Anyone on Bell not having this problem? Anyone have any ideas on fixing it?
