Re: Official HTC Touch Rom IS Here Folks!

crap.

I started flashing it (had the .2 ROM) a half hour ago... From the same PC that I used for the .2 ROM.

It's been stuck at 15% for the last half hour, no progress at all. THe PDA Phone ROM update utility is not responding at all...

****.

Now what do I do?

Should I let it go for a few hours more, or should I stop the process in windows XP? Or should I sofreset the phone?

THe last update went fine.

WellI pulled the USB cable, did a hard reset and it came back up to the rainbow screen.

I ended the processes in the XP task manager.

When I hooked the USB cable back up the rainbow screen changed from "Serial" to "USB".

I restarted the RUU and now am quickly at 19%. I also turned off my Norton AV program, not sure if that helped.

Re: Official HTC Touch Rom IS Here Folks!

Hey guys. Been running the new ROM since about 15 seconds after the first post. So far so good except 1 problem. Now, when I am getting an incoming call, the top half of the Caller ID (the caller's name) is not visible. Is anyone else having this problem? My brother has the same phone (stock out-of-the-box ROM), and his phone is having the same problem. Tried to search the fourums, but can't seem to find anything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

My original ROM did that, but only if the phone was locked I think.

I don't remember if the .2 rom did that...

I'm going to install this and go back to my 2.03 custom ROM until a solid kitchen is released for this.

Here's a mirror in case that goes down. It's the same one as OP.

Re: Official HTC Touch Rom IS Here Folks!

Has anyone been able to get tcpmp and flashvideo bundle to work with this new rom? That compressed version of youtube is unwatchable.
