Hello all,

I've just installed the .4 ROM and although the TeleNav icon is present on the Today page it just isn't working... nothing happens when I press it. The rest of the apps seem to run fine.

Mr. Frosty -> I found IOTA using the file explorer but nothing happens when I select it... is there some special incantation that I should use in order to get that puppy to run??

Other info:

Following the instructions in dharvey4651's sticky, I did not unlock the phone prior to installing the .4 ROM, I'm wondering if this is the problem.

Also the phone I'm using is refurbished.

{ aside: I bricked my first phone trying to go back to a stock ROM to correct the exit problem with IMCOKEMAN's unlocker. I was trying to rerun the unlocker in order to install the radio. }

Could this refurbished phone be whacked at some deep black magic layer that's preventing the TeleNav from running ( i.e., did I wind up with a refurbished brick that already has the radio written to some secret location in the bowels of the phone, and which now conflicts with the .4 ROM? )

Click Start> Settings>Phone Icon>Services Tab>Scroll down and highlight Internet>Get Settings

That gets you to the IOTA Start up screen. Just Click Start and wait for it to "enroll you" into sprint data.

BTW, I'm running the .4 Rom too. In case you were wondering...oh, and you didn't have to unlock the phone for this rom either...

Hope this helps

Any new word on the battery life issue? I'd love to have GPS work, but not at the sacrifice of stability and battery life.

I'm still on the factory-installed ROM from when I bought the phone in April.

Re: RUU_PPST_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.4_Radio (DCD Strikes Again - JULY 10, 2008)

I just ungraded this morning and I can definitely say that the GPS is working much better. I am getting GPS acquire in under 10 seconds. Before it would take much longer and 40% of the time in would not lock at all.

Thanks DCD!

Bah, With this radio GPS doesnt want to work at all. It's not even polling.

Ok by using this radio and NSFANS bell rom, I have got it to start polling, but no locks, and it seems AGPS is not working, it's putting me out in the ocean.

Have you run PPST.EXE from the windows folder?

Re: RUU_PPST_Vogue_SPRINT_WWE_3.03.651.4_Radio (DCD Strikes Again - JULY 10, 2008)

I loaded this ROM and I an having no luck with GPS. I had excellent GPS on the early 'leaked' Sprint ROM. I ran PPST.exe, but the file doesn't seem to execute correctly. It turns off the phone/data connection, but doesn't go any further. It doesn't finish the process and restart the phone. I have to soft reset to get my connections back and GPS still doesn't lock. Anyone else having problems with this?
