Alright, I'm a Newb to the HTC (Sprint) Touch. Just got mine. I was under the impression that there was NO GPS built into this device? Is this not true? I see that there is sprint navigation? What does this mean? Someone please shed some light, so I will feel better about this phone. I'm going into this from a Sprint Mogul. So hopefully this is true and there is a built in GPS.

I Have a sprint touch. NOT A VOGUE. Thanks in advance.

Not to be an a'hole, but why do you think there is Sprint Navigation if it didnt have gps? Yes it has gps. Again, not to be an a'hole, but why didnt you just open Sprint navigation and see what happened?

No offense taken here. When you look at the description of the touch, it has NOTHING about GPS ready anywhere, and when you read the description of the Mogul like I had, it says GPS Ready.

Also, when I started looking around for custom stuff for this phone, I was looking for GPS info, and doing a google search, I was getting stuff like.... NO THIS PHONE IS NOT GPS READY, YOU NEED A BLUETOOTH RECIEVER... ETC.....


So with that being said, I guess my first impression of this device from what I was seeing did not lead me to believe that this unit was GPS ready.

I guess if I was smart enough, I woulda played around with it a little more to realize there was a sprint navigation button.......

Oh, and on a side note, your device is still a Vogue. Just more specifically a Touch. As opposed to the Elfin which is the gsm version of our device.
