I also uploaded the EPST.cab cause I changed the max version from 6.0 to 6.1. Nice work on the shortcuts though.

My ##786# is appearing and disappearing as well. hmm..

Alright, I think I got to the bottom of this gps nonsense. I belive the problem is that the GPSone data in the radio is not set up properly. I opened up the settings with QPST, and the PDE informaiton is not setup.

the settings should be as follows
Allowed = checked
Assistanc-Spherical = checked
PDE IP Address = 216.198.139.92
PDE Port Number = 8889
PDE Transport = IP
Position Calculation = PDE

After flashing the new rom, everything is blank. After entering this data, and enabling smartmode in HKLM/Software/HTC/SUPLGPS, i get a solid 5-6 locks in my basement. These results are on the Telus leaked radio, rom and PPST

However, on the 3.42 radio, i was getting 6-8.

Once again, ghetto, nice find. I bow to your awesomeness. The GPS is nearly as good as i had previously and no need for the sprint stoof. Couple things for the doods willing to mess with these settings...

If the ##3424 doesn't work for you(didn't for me) you can get DMR manually by getting the run box(hold the center button and hold stylus on the clock in the upper right of screen then select run) type "\Windows\DmRouter.exe /DIAG" into the run box and bingo

download QPST and htc modem drivers, connect phone and be sure to add com3 and com4 in qpst. GPS is in the service programming

this gets me connected within seconds with 8 sats, thanks ghetto for figuring this stoof out, i should have my touch setup right just in time to shelf it for a diamond rofl

Garmin and google grab GPS fast and strong, TT7 still needs prime, something i'm missing maybe? I'll keep playing and post if i find something. Also i actually like a few things TELUS added to this rom but gonna hack em(hate pocket express and will rid my phonetoy of it hehe) should i start a new thread for this since this thread has become GPS focused or start up a new one? Most of what i'm doing can be found elsewhere but i thought other TELUS folks starting out might find em handy in one place.

I forgot that I'd changed my settings when I'd originally had tt7 working, maybe that explains it! Any idea on the other options? almanac and etc?

Fantastic! Just a note that COM4 may not be the right com port for everyone. For me, it was COM5.

Also what version of qpst are you guys using?
