I've read as much of the thread as I could and tried a few fixes and XDA links in this thread to be able to use the custom weather cities but I still don't know how to get around the error I get:

"Custom Cities Weather Database.xip:cannot create \Windows\HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml Access Denied"

How do I use the custom weather file so I can get my cities listed?

which rom are you using? If I remember correctly I have included HHC (HTC Home Customerizer) in every rom except the clean versions. Just use HHC to add your city.

yes I have the touch and diamond
Diamond screen is delicious, but is too slim for Full Qwerty for me. Battery is not so good, and TP has worse battery life. I'm trading my diamond once again for a blackberry curve for the meanwhile =\ .. and selling my Touch

OMJ, I already looked on this forum but couldnt find much I wanted to know if your ROM is tether safe for bell. I have to full version I seen a answer for the clean version but wanted to make sure before I try it.
Also I havent used the tethering before so I just set it up right off my phone and dont have to install any other programs, am I correct.

well nothing is a 100% guarrentee, but I have not heard any Bell users say they got charged. All my roms have the tethering fix, both clean & custom versions. I can only say, I have used ICS many times on Sprint & never got charged, but I don't use ICS that much anymore.

no, you dont need any other programs, just go into ICS on the phone to "connect" then connect the usb cable to your pc....your pc will recognise it as a lan connection.

Hey OMJ... this is great stufff... thanks for all your hard work... Im running your 3.09 m2d rom and she's a beaut... my first flash, simple as hell, now im kicking myself for not having flashed sooner... way better than stock, performance, memory, program; everything... anyways...

i had a couple of minor questions, i was curious if anyone could help me out with

First... with the M2dc I tried to rearrange the widgets. simple stuff, like moving the launche closer to my home screen and removing the music widget... but when i do things like that, for some reason when i get to the sms widget, it always reverts back to the "tap her to launch touchflo screen'
which needless to say is pretty annoying, and not matter what i try I cant make these simple changes w/o that glitch, so for now ive put everything back as it was, but is there a reason for this, and possibly a work around or fix?

Also, I tried to install the lastest advance config tool on my sd card, but theres was a conflict w/ the one built into your rom, so whenever I tried to run it there was an error, i then tried to swap the latest version out w/ that was in the windows folder, hoping it would perfom the same, well that got rid of one error, but i got a whole new one instead... eventually I just had to hard reset to get the built in version back, so Im wondering is there a way for me to update the older built in version w/ the newer one, there are some tweaks and features on the newer one that the older version doesnt have and Id like to use... ultimatly, ill live w/o it if I have too, but just wanted to know if its possible...

I heard someone else post that bug about moving widgets, but when I had my Touch I did not see that issue. it could a bug in M2D, but i'm not aware of a fix.....if it's determined that an update M2D package is needed, I can update, I just cant test it.

as far as adv cfg, I have the latest on my Diamond, I will compare the 2 version to see if can be easily updated, it may just be a matter of overwriting the old files w/ the new, in the correct location. or manually deleting the files, then installing the cab. I'll get back to ya.

Excellent work as this is my first flash as well on my Verizon XV6900. ...I have one slight problem though as I cannot make any calls or access the internet.

Let me explain my steps. I had a recently deactivated Verizon XV6900. I followed the instructions and used the unlocker...then flased with Bell OEM for radio upgrade (I installed the Verizon carrier cab and still could not make calls)...Then I installed M2D v3 to see if that made a difference but it was the same. I again tried the Verizon carrier cab and even a newer one that i found but no luck.

After this was done I did an ESN swap with my current phone XV6900 on Verizon however I could not activate the phone via *228 etc. and when I try this it just tells me to call Verizon for help. Any help to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated

I have a Sprint phone and used the Ditte ROM and VZ says the HEX# does not come up. So I would like to try your ROM if you have one ready for Verizon? I really need to get this phone working as I get calls from my Dr's due to my disability. Thanks, JASTECH
