I have moved from making carrier specific roms (though I'm w/ Sprint) and instead keeping them fairly generic....carrier specific apps can be added easily, and DCD has all the carrier cabs.

It just gets to be too much when everyone wants a Sprint, Alltel, Verizon, Bell....2x....custom & clean.

ok, version 2 will also have TCPMP....version 1 already has a flash included, but I'll test it out.

1-##786#, Menu/Reset/Yes, reboot.
2-Flash with your OEM carrier's rom, let the customization runs.
3-Test your data connection, should work.
4-If you reflash with another carrier's rom, NEVER let the cust. runs!

unfortunately, he said he doesnt have an official rom to flash.

I can't figure out if the PRL's of one in the list will fit in the Kamikazyemt's phone for his small carrier, but usually this kind of company uses infrastructures of leading corps. Finding who is (if there is) the Big Corp behind his reseller could help choosing the Rom. At this point, we're sure that this is not Sprint!:???:

Should try the ##786, it will at least restore the AAA keys/defaut user and if PRL's wasn't altered by the Sprint custmz, he should success; not a big deal but instead of doing nothing, let's try!

I tried to follow your instructions but I could not figure out the unlock code and if it matters I have imcokes unlocker and omj's new manilla rom, with the new bell radio

OMJ - I have installed your sprint clean rom and I was wondering if I needed to do any of the following to get a better GPS lock:

4. Copy PPST_080407_7500_SPCS_2.03.sa.CAB to device and install.
5. Browse to the Windows folder and run PPST.exe. Soft reset when finished.
6. Copy Assisted GPS Hack.cab to device and install.
7. Copy Virsir_GPS.dll to Windows Folder.(You will need Resco Explorer in order to see the dll file on the device)
8. Install the latest version of Google Maps.
9. Soft reset your device.

Also, Does this rom include the battery fixes?

no, you shouldn't have to do any of that unless you specifically are haveing a problem w/ gps...

yes....it has battery tweaks

no, that gps edit is not included.....I dont' mess w/ gps settings unless it aint workin.

what annoying sounds? I leave the rom fairly stock, and leave it up to you to tweak to your liking.
