Just flashed your m2d rom last night and im loving it. I was very hesitant because I tried another m2d rom and was very disappointed that with m2d I loose my today plugins (specifically phonealarm). But last night I tried alarmpal and its working great with m2d as its not a plugin and the biggest feature of phonealarm that I was missing was the repeating alarms of phonealarm for sms,email,voicemail and reminders but alarmpal takes care of that.

Im a happy camper as usual with one of OMJ's great roms!

OMJ, would you consider disabling the cube per the instructions found on this thread in your next releases? It seems most of us are using things like M2D to replace any functionality the cube gave us; is there anyone still using it (feel free to reply peeps). Would give back 6-7 mb ram. I've done it myself, and I am very pleased with the results. Happy to keep doing it for myself every time I re-flash, but though this could be something that everyone could benefit from.

I still use the cube, it's faster for me to use it when s2u2 is on and i can get to my speed dials.

My preference would be to leave the cube out entirely....I just don't use it. Thanks OMJ for all your work...

Yeah, I disabled my cube a few weeks ago. Don't miss it at all. With M2D, the cube is completely redundant.

Incidentally, I don't use S2U2 either. ThrottleLock for me.

I never use the cube except for when im showing someone at work thats interested in the touch. But now that im using a m2d rom I could really care less if its there or not.

When you guys disable the cube, do you go ahead and kill biotouch?

Quick question, I went back to 3.03(i like sprint's areacodes + camera ver) does 3.09 w/ m2d camera still have that annoying shuttertone that you can't really turn off?

Read the thread linked below, I just did it and gained about 6mb of memory. I dont mind if OMJ removes it or not I'll still use his roms but its nice to have a way to remove it and regain some memory if you really dont use it.

Yay I disabled the cube with the 0kb files but I didn't include the biotouch.exe I heard it has problems sometimes.
and I also put the 62 files in Windows. and did the reg tweak and I got 7 mb of memory more :)
I never use the cube so that's great for me but by all means this should not be disabled in a real rom like this since many people use the Cube.

But thanks for posting how to remove cube :)
