yes, I believe there is, but sorry I dont remember how....I only remember other ppl reporting their phone switching to vibrate automattically, and it was something to do w/ htc home profiles.

I think I found out the cause, but not the solution. Here's what happens. I put the phone into silent mode and then open up TCPMP and open up a video file. Once I hit the play icon, the volume for the phone turns back on. That's where I first noticed it. Now I see that any app that outputs sound will turn the volume back on. Any ideas?

I'm using the non-manilla ROM and am having some issues with the volume. I set it to vibrate, then next thing I know, the volume is all the way up. This happens everyday, not sure why its happening. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hey all, just a quick question. I just put the rom on my sprint phone and everything was fine except I had no internet! so I downloaded IOTA cab and now everything seems to be fine.

But my question was when i click on my internet connection symbol up top it says "Data Network (Dial-up)" is this whatevery one else has? thanks.

yes, I simply changed the name "Sprint" to "Data" to keep it generic.

What is the proper way to get a m2d based rom on sprint?

Get official bell rom skip post carrier and then run dcd; and then m2d rom on top

or

Get official sprint rom, don't skip post carrier; and then m2d rom on top

I've never had to run DCD, and Sprint is my carrier. My path has been
1. unlock with IMCokeman's unlocker
2. flash latest official sprint rom
3. flash latest official bell rom
4. flash omj bell custom rom
5. Install a mixture of M2D revisions - I use update 19 M2D and fixes, plus the opal album and contact fix from update 14, and opera 1957.
6. update a few fixes that OMJ left out of the latest bell custom, namely ICS sharing fixes

Step #2 may probably isn't necessary. I've never had to run DCD. I don't use OMJs M2D roms, because I like updating it myself and only using the portions of M2D I want/like/use.

Run Bell to get the newest radio and skip customizations. Then go find a good M2D ROM, OMJ's is the best overall I've run. You can run the Bell ROM and run carrier cabs and install M2D later, but if you go with a custom ROM, it runs better and may have Sprint specific apps.
