xD OMJ!
do you mean you'll be selling your touch and getting a Diamond ?
or you only mean making a Diamond rom ? because I am confused as to what the difference is between diamond Rom and manila 2d... :S

I hope this hasn't already been answered, but is there a reason my custom weather cities isn't working anymore? I copied the newest file into the windows directory, but it still shows the original cities, even after I reset the phone. Does the newest version of manilla need something extra to get it to work?

Thanks,

Wes

Just curious...is there anyway to associate clicking the Calender button to ThumbCal instead of default winmobile one?

Wes, this hasn't been answered here yet (I think), but there are three fixes I came across on XDA:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=2124
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=1089
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=2930

I haven't had a chance to try the first two, but the third one seems to be for a different problem/cause... Let us know if one works better than the rest for you... I'll give these a shot later on this weekend.

The 2nd link helped me the most. I guess I never downloaded the new manilla2d.exe file to replace in the windows directory...I was still using one from late Sept. Once I downloaded and copied the manilla2d.exe file to windows, it found my custom cities and works now. :)

Thanks again,

Wes

which rom are you using? v3 has the same m2d....I always use HHC to set the custom city.

make sure you are disabling TouchFlo before copying the file to /windows.

I don't think so. I think it's hard coded in m2d.

There actually is a way; you can't change the hard-coded soft button, but you can change the file it is activating. Mine points to thumb call using vjbrisk explained here on XDA:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=2271

By the way, a lot of the M2D questions are answered in post #3 (quick fixes) of the M2D thread at XDA (and if they're not, try searching the thread):
