yeah, I knew what ya meant....I just wanted to let ya know that the verizon version was basically a sprint rom but had the verizon customization.

you can also flash the bell official rom to upgrade your radio, just remember to skip the post-flash carrier customization.

I can't speak for how Audio Manager handles it's searching and whatnot -- and I realized you solved your problem for the most part, but here is something to consider:

I've got a Sansa e260 mp3 player... when you add or remove files it has to rebuild it's database of songs... it's capable of holding 4gb... if it's completely full it will take around 2 minutes to rebuild the database. From what I heard, the 8gb versions took significantly longer to rebuild the database...

You're using an 8gb card... depending on how Audio Manager cycles through that card, you might expect it to take a while. (Yes other programs may have better ways of accessing the files.)

Just something to keep in mind... (ie: if speed is really a problem, might want to trim your collection).
