I agree with you, but as the article pointed out:

"Yes, it is possible to make a PPC virus: as I said, there are a couple of "proof of concept" models that have been seen. However, since they lack a means to reproduce, they're not found in the wild. PPCs don't have some of the issues PCs did/do, such as the ability to automatically execute code. No VBScript, no Office macros, no open internet ports. So the ability to get infected with a virus basically boils down to getting the user to voluntarily install it."

After I upgraded the ROM, it didn't update my PRL, so I manually upgraded it to 60613. I haven't tried going back to 60612, but if its a known issue with 60613, I might try going back.

How can you change your PRL?

Thanks

Just let it do what it's doing. If you have sprint and it was connected via active sync when you started it'll beep and all the jazz like when you lose/make your connection but it knows what it's doing. This was the first rom I ever flashed, all I did was hook my phone up through active sync than dbl clicked the file and the wizard popped up and I answered the questions, was patient, and most importantly, I thought was to, not touch the phone to make sure the active sync connection was never disturbed. It said it was finished after 10-20 min. then maybe turned off or something then I turned it on and it was just like a hard reset only updated. I haven't had any issues since.
