I'm getting excellent GPS performance. Is it necessary to run the Assisted GPS.cab? What exactly is the cab doing that the ROM doesnt already have?

Hello,

If we didn't run the custimazation files - can you tell me where they are and what they do? I remember seeing a great post listing each one of the files in another thread but now I can't seem to find it.

Is anybody else having problems with thier contacts? Some times I open them and the letters running down the right side are missing, and if you try scrolling down with the D-pad the leters don't show. I can shut down contacts reopen and everthing is fine then. So, am I alone on this?

my internet isnt working at all. it keeps telling me to contact sprint. and also is it just me or the battery life is a KILLER on this new rom!

okay so im a complete noob to all of this....i searched over the forum looking for an answer but couldnt find it....

I updated to the new ROM last night, that works all fine, when done it was like having a brand new phone....i remember seeing the old cube when it was finished. This morning i did my sbp restore to get all my stuff back, which i had the Macflo BB Supernova, but now no cube's show up at all...im not sure what i did, as everything else (so far) seems to work fine.

Help a new guy out...or atlesast point me in the right direction...please

Had the same problem on the first boot, didn't notice at first. Did a hard reset and after that it was back.

I did a hard reset and so far today my GPS has locked fine. I'm at work with one bar on the signal and all I get is acquiring satellites on my Garmin. I'll step outside for a bit to see if it picks anything up. BTW it's using the Intermediate driver, maybe Com4 would work better?
