I'm using OMJ's Sprint-based Verizon ROM and it's working fine. The only hitch I had was locked in roaming and AKey. The was handled easily by Tier 3 tech stripping and re-adding my phone. The first took a call to Fraud.

In order to make your XV6900 Default back to verizon. you have to flash back to a stock verizon Radio/Rom.

Your are a test dummy here. try this and see if it works. If anything it will brick your phone and you can get it replaced lol

Download and run:
ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/Im...e_unlocker.exe
after the unlocker DO NOT LET THE OS START UP!!! HOLD CAMERA+POWER+RESET buttons until it goes back into booloader(rainbow screen)
If it says 0.40.coke then continue...Leave it on the rainbow screen then flash

Flash to:
http://rapidshare.com/files/10745929...RUU_signed.rar
Let the verizon customizations run!

Then start the tutorial from the first step!!!

PLEASE let me know the outcome.
Im currently searching for a safer method
First, thanks a bunch for even paying attention to me. I might wait to see if you find a safer method to avoid downtime. Thanks a million!

From what I've been seeing. This is the only way. Others have done it successfully so cross your fingers and close your eyes and GO! lol
I apologize for your mishap! I will make that text larger in the tutorial

All I can say is I had to call Verizon and ask for them to reauth it at their switch. *228 and *8899 did not work for me.

I believe you have to dial the whole five digits for the first recommendation. and it's #8899 for the second

IMPORTANT!!! To authenticate your phone:
REMOVE the battery for a minute. Then start the phone back up and dial *22801 (Thanks to Magicality)

Eastcoast Users Dial *22800 (Thanks to drellisdee)
If those don't work:
Dial #8899 To Get Your Phone Authenticated.

I assume central isn't eastcoast lol. I say try one, if it doesn't work, try the other. If one or the other works, PLEASE let me know! Or in the end resort to the last option lol. I'm trying to get as much info as I can so There will be one page for every Verizon users reference.

Did you search through the posts on OMJ's thread at verizon users with success?
