Updated!! (5/18/08) ALMOST OEM 6.1 Sprint Vogue ROM **V.2.1** with Working GPS/Rev A.

I just did this whole unlock and ROM thing yesterday even tho I'm a long time user.



This ROM is cool except...


- I don't get no sound for text messages or emails. The notification will pop up but the ringtone I select won't play.
- Windows Live is not syncing automatically... meaning "push". I don't know if its the version I'm using... but the OEM version worked flawlessly.
- I been getting complaints about calls not going thru... and texts showing up really late. I don't know if this is a ROM problem or a "number change" because I changed my number yesterday as well. I had the OEM ROM with the number change and everything was working fine as far as calls and texts.
- A bunch of shortcut errors that people already stated.


I didn't read all 24 pages because it is long as hell. I'm about to flash to another ROM because this is irritating the hell out of me. I appreciate the effort, but I think you should have gotten more close to the OEM, I felt like alot of things are still stripped.

Ok so I took a leap and did the flashing and the unlocking and everything went exactly as everyone said and almost everything works perfect except card export. I've tried from version .08 onwards and none of them work now. Can anyone recomend a software card reader program for WM6.1 please?

Got a Quick Question, im on sprint loaded new rom as per directions, flash went great gps is great , all is good But, if u call the phone it does not ring goes to VM??? i m prob being stupid and missing somthing, ....other thing when i go online with IE it goes to my sprint page but it says i have a MOGUL not a touch? and lastly if i look at Device INFO on the Touch its says Rom Vers 3.37.NO2.200 and radio ver is 3.37.10

I am having one small issue using this ROM. When I am composing a text message, and I want to change keyboard, it is very delayed. I always have to click the little arrow twice to get it to even work. I've installed touchpal, then removed it thinking that might help. No luck. Anyone have the same problem? Any fixes?

ok got the incoming phone calls working, must of changed some settings so all is good with that just curious if everyones rom version under device info is reading what mine says..

i am running igo8, everything works perfectly except for when i connect my car cassette adapter, teh vol. of igo8 directions is inaudible. same issue with skyfire, vol. is fine on the fone but when i connect to teh cassette adapter, vol. drops to barely audible. other music apps like s2p, gs player, all work fine thru the adapter. anybdy else experience similar issues??

I had the GPStest2.1 rom and everything worked, but noe great. I loaded this rom and ran the ppst.exe from another thread. (I'm on Sprint) and wow what a difference. GPS now locks in seconds not minutes!

Have you tried version 3.11...that one ended up being the only one that worked for me

Hide Data Connection Bubble, does anyone still have this bubble pop up on them? I noticed it does, just re-read that it shouldn't be there!!
