sorry guys but I've been very busy lately, havent been here since last week.....I started a new postition @ work, still waiting for my new laptop.

My time is limited also, so if I dont answer your question....dont fret

I probably wont have time to work on any new roms for the next week or so.....I may just wait to see if Sprint releases the new official rom on 6/20.

there's no real way to verify rev a except for a speed test.

I did have a few questions:

1. Why is that nothing shuts down. What I mean is that when I open a program and hit the "X" to close it, it still shows that its open and I have to go through the menu to close it.
2. The phone pad always comes up in the background, not sure why but when i'm done with something and hit the "X", the phone dialer is left on the screen.
3. The quick tabs for contacts disappear. Look, you guys have done an excellent job and this is small compared to what you have done. It is just an inconvience and if it can't be fixed, its a inconvience that I can live with.

which rom are you using? it sounds like you're using the sprint oem version? if so, the close apps, you have to choose that option in task manager options.

if you're using the custom version, is has QuickMenu, which should already be setup to close all apps w/ the X button.

I'm not sure about the contacts issue, I have seen it once or twice but didnt spend any time on it.

I would recommend 3.37.15 but .10 should work.....you would only need to install the test.ext if you want to upgrade the radio to 3.37.15.

just tested, I did not see this issue......the camera is all stock though....no changes/tweaks were made.

Thanks for all the hard work. I Unlocked then flashed the leaked Sprint ROM but did not cancel the customization and I am on Verizon. I installed the custom Verizon ROM but I have no data connection and it keeps trying to initialize Sprint Vision. What should I do?

i'm guessing the customization messed you over. The worst case senario I'd flash the stock rom from VZ (available in another thread), then the leaked sprint - skipping customization - then OMJ. Might not take all that but I don't see any reason why it wouldnt work.

re-flash the sprint rom and try the proccess again.

I have noticed this also, under low light the camera quality turns very bad and the screen updates very slow, under bright light it displays fine when taking pics.

Btw, great rom. Installed it few days back. It does not have Opera Mini but has skyfire?

Just want to confirm, to run the verizon full custom OEM i would have to save it to my phone and just run the exe?

Okay, so I did this for my Alltel Touch, but I don't think I did it right.

I ran the unlocker, and then I installed the Alltel ROM. I didn't stop the customization because I didn't know how so I just let it run.

That's all that I have done, but it's not fully correct. GPS doesn't work, I've tried google maps. If I want to do this over again and do it right & thoroughly, what do I need to do?

I forgot to mention, I'm a complete noob. I just got this phone last week and it's my first PPC ever.

Needless to say, thorugh, detailed instructions are what I need.
