OMJ's WM6.1 Custom Touch ROM w/ UC, GPS, REV A! Updated 5/29/08

Can someone please confirm this for me? Is REV A. meant to be set to "enabled" or "disabled" in the Data Parameters in the EPST phone codes? Thank you so much. I've read conflicting reports. When I "enable" it, I get really fast uploads, but my downloads usually get cut in half.

8 ) Then you load the titan radio ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/Jakdillard/temp/3.35.04radio.rar into a ruu folder then flash

- Do the power-camera-reset to get to the tri-color screen - it should say 0.40 unlocker ImCokeMan.

- You must have the RUU already downloaded, then extract the radio into that folder and flash.

Your device should boot normally showing the radio as 3.35.04.

Once the device comes on showing the information connect it to you pc when the device boots up it will come to the welcome screen.

DON'T tap the screen to get started instead wait for active sync to recognize the device. (This isn't critical... just to save time...)

9) Next run the 2.31 unlocker again - follow all of the steps when it is done your device will reboot (ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/Im...r_MFG_2.31.exe)


NOW you can flash OMJ's ROM


10) After you get into Windows, do the Power-Camera-Reset to get into ImCokeMan's Bootloader (the rainbow screen).
11) Run the Alltel ROM exe file (follow all prompts).

So these were the steps posted on page 10 to flash device to mogul's 3.35 radio... The part i dont get is why after flashing the phone on step 9 with OMJ's rom, why do we flash back to alltel rom after(considering we are in OMJ thread and we I want to use his rom)? I,m not an alltel suscriber... I am a bell user(canada).

I've done the registry hacks to allow untrusted certificates but my device will still not let me install the CAB file for Skyfire browser, anybody else having this issue?

Mine was set to Enable (meaning it was disabled). When I changed it to Disable (meaning I enabled it) my DL speeds doubled on my Touch (although I still only get in the 550 range). Unfortunately, I have not not found a web site that will measure my upload speeds. I do not have a laptop so i have not been able to teather.

Can someone tell me how to change my setting from Enable to Disable on the phone codes for the Rev-A settings? I'm using OMJ latest ROM, but everytime I go to edit the codes it ask me for an Unlock Code, which I thought was 000000 but that does not seem to work.

Any reason the Home tab will only show 5 tabs? Music tab will not show up even if checked in Today settings. All the hacks are done.

Anyone else notice the "favorite people" tab doesn't seem to keep the contacts I put there... everytime I soft reset the phone it seems to lose it.

I'm now on my third or fourth day with flawless GPS. Locking under 30 seconds everything appears to be working fine.

For those having problems, remember....

1. Flash 3.02 FIRST
2. Flash OMJ's ROM SECOND
