OMJ's WM6.1 Custom Touch ROM w/ UC, GPS, REV A! Updated 5/29/08

hey omj, im downloading your rom as we speak.. but iwas wondering if the gps had stopped working over time for you... or is it still working fine.. because with EVERY OTHER ROM i tried, the gps would work right after i flash.. but then a few hours later, or by the next day.. it wont work anymore

I think the ROM has some issues. The clock in the title bar isn't on the same time as the HTC Today clock.

When you're in any system setting, it brings you to the phone instead of the system panel.

I also seen some screen corruption after messing around with it for a while.

Nope. Just got back from an appt and tried using it the entire time. No luck. I think I may try re-installing the gps driver I used last Friday on the alltel install to see if that makes a difference.

I downgraded to the 3.35 radio and BAM! GPSToday showed green right off the bat. The radio made a difference for me for sure. It was NOT working on 3.37 radio. I would give that a shot xcopmanx.

I have seen the phone panel popping up issue on a couple of ROMs in the past couple days... I found another post that said to modify the following reg key to fix it :

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock -> 2

Why? I dunno... but it works... =)

As for screen corruption I did just notice something with S2U2... It showed up right and up from where it should and I couldn't unlock as a result... A result of these devices actually being able to display VGA (640x480) but only having a QVGA (320x240) screen?

I'd like to use this on my phone, how do i know if i can or not? I have a Sprint mogul with the rom 3.35.651.2 and radio 3.35.04.
If not this i'd like to get some sort of customization done to it.
