Ghettofreeryder v7 Roms - Rev A, GPS

I have no problems connecting to GPS... my problem is that I cannot load Tomtom 6 Navigator. I have the cabs and it had worked on jd's gpstest 2.1 but now the installs are unsuccessful... anyone else tried tomtom on these roms?

I'm using GpsViewer.PPC300_2577, Titan Radio 3.35.04 with Ghetto's V700 ROM. I use GpsViewer to prime COM4. Then I open TomTom when I get a lock on GpsViewer. Great ROM and GPS!

TomTom works perfect for me. Just returned from a business trip and used Tom many times.

I'd just launch GPSTODAY to prime then start TomTom immediately after.

Does anyone know if the new GPS dll's/kickstart.exe are necessary in this ROM? Found here - http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=25407

There's some positive feedback. Mardukeme's registry entries are already in the ROM but not sure of the DLLs.

Great. Does that mean we're using the same file versions or if we install them something will break?

Ok I have the Ghetto 7 ROM, and I have a Sprint Touch. The issue I am having right now is that I can not make calls when the 1xRTT icon is up. When I try to make a call I get Verizon saying that they can not validate my phone. What the heck is this? Otherwise I love the ROM. Please help!!

Oh also I can not get GPS to work consistently. I got it to work once after it was primed for about 10 mins. Can not get it to work again. Ideas???

My problem was that Tomtom would not install... got a newer version and it works fine now. 6.030.

where did you get TomTom?

When you press the signal or battery icon and get that "bubble" that lets you choose what you want to look at. Mine got turned off some how. How can I get it back?
