I used gps viewer and set it to comm 4 and hit open, than I went into tom tom and waited about one to two minutes and it locks on to about 3 to 4 bars. Using gps viewer works for google maps to too. Once gps viewer locks on everthing else seems to work. But nothing works for me without it.

Thanks for the info. I haven't been able to find a proper version of gps viewer. Is it available in a cab file? Does anyone have a link?

hmmm, seems like Arcsoft might still be installed some how, when i go to create a new email account, i hit menu, then all the way at the top it says New>picture message/video message

hmm, also i tried to not include streaming media in my custom rom and it still showed up... o well

honestly coming from the titan and having cooked roms on there, to the vogue, i can honestly say this is the best Rom i ihave used. On some real shiot!

What sucks is no matter what i do i cant GPS to work, hard reset again and everything.
Also, when i first loaded the alltel rom, google maps picked up a few sats after i set it to com4/4800. Since that day, i havent been able to get a lock. The corner of the phone gets warm when i turn GPS on, but it never gets a lock.

Im gonna try astroGps again.

I'm sorry--IDK where in the registry to look for that entry. Do you know where it is or can you just point me in the right direction......

One other snag: Bluetooth audio is inconsistent, but I'll search around for a registry fix for this.

Otherwise, this ROM is as near to perfection as I've ever been!

Great rom ghetto!! I'm using 3.37 radio with it and i got my first lock within 1 min and it only takes about 10 15 sec now with google maps...Nice Job!!

I installed the ROM and then installed Google Maps... but Google Maps is saying could not download data... is there something else I need to do ?

(yes, I unlokced installed Alltel ROM first and also have 3.37 Radio)

I got it from one if the stickies up top.try this for gps viewer.
