So I'm thinking that Rev. A is not enabled on my phone with these sucky speeds huh?

Help... :(

Edit: Not a great signal here in the house it looks like. Rev. A IS indeed enabled.

Thats because its actually the opposite. When it says "Rev A: Enabled", that means Rev A is actually disabled, and you have to click on Enabled to actually activate(Enable) it. Hence the big difference in speeds. The same goes for Vice Versa.

Sure about this? That seems strange.

Mine says Item: Rev. A - Setting: Enable.

So you are saying if I set the setting to Disable, it enables it?

Doesn't seem right to me.

That's how it worked for me. When I upgraded to the dHarvey's Black Vista Rom (2.9) and initially checked it, it said Disabled. When I attempted to enable it, I found my speeds really dropping.

What a shame they imposed a 5GB cap...I never had an opportunity to use it as a replacement for my crappy dsl. Even so, I'm living in NYC, shouldn't I have a ridiculous Rev A speed?

EDIT: If yours came with it saying enabled (what ROM are you using?), I would recommend tethering and running a speed test prior to disabling. Repeat after disabling.

I'm using NFSFAN's ROM (1.14) and he stated that it is enabled right off the bat and nothing needs to be changed. It says 'Enable" for the setting and he stated that is correct and that Rev. A is enabled with the setting set to that by default.

You have to tether your phone to a computer and do the speed test that way. PIE won't run it and Opera just gives you their server speed.

When I access EPST config and try to use the edit mode for changing the Rev A: Enabled to Rev A: Disabled, it shows a box that states Please Enter Unlock Code. What can I do. I am using NexVision Manila ROM. HTC Touch Vogue

That info should probably be in the Speedtest FAQ.
