Did you pull the memory card out with the VOGUIMG.nbh on it?

Yup, I was kinda praying that that would fix it, but it didn't change anything.

Edit: Okay, its been sitting for 10 mins, I guess I'm gonna try the hard reset now.

what version is the radio on the phone, it should be displayed in red when booting up?

My next hunch is that maybe my battery is too low to boot, so I pulled the battery and plugged it back in and I'm gonna let it charge for a bit...but its not doing the solid amber light like it usually does, its flashing instead.

Progress folks...

I did some searcing and was able to get out of rainbow hell by using MTTY to connect via USB and issues the following commands...

cmd>set 16 0
cmd>task 8

and the device restarted and took a while but then booted into WM6.1 (which was on it previously), and now I am back in business!

One issue... I don't believe I have a radio any longer... and without vzw issuing a rom yet I think I am screwed.

However, no more bootloader to get me in trouble if I have to replace it!

Congrats, you could now probrally run IMCokeMans unlocker and rerun the Alltel rom.
