You're definitely off cause you're in your basement with one sat locked on.

Two ways to test rev a, make a phone call and then open up internet explorer and browse the web. Rev a makes it possible now for you to do so, so if it works you should get websites open while on the phone.

Another way, less reliable, is going to dslreports.com/mspeed and testing your speed on that site. Best I've gotten with 1-2 bars is 300kb/s which is faster than what I've gotten before. I believe you can get up to ~900kb/s... i've seen 1000kb/s with rev a. The site though isn't inconsistant in tests.
