Is macflo a no go on the new ROM? That's the only thing thats stopping me from upgrading (since I already have a GPS Puck).

As of right now it is a no go. I haven't flashed over to the Alltel ROM yet, so I don't know what's going on. I was going to wait for jakdillard's ROM. You might want to do the same? If there are enough people who go the Alltel way, I may flash over and see if I can figure it out, but if JD's ROm works for all carriers, then I'll just work on it using that ROM.

Edit: I just noticed that JD doesn't have a "Donate" link. Hm. so, who do I give my money to when the ROM comes out? I already donated to ImCokeMan. Might want to get on that, jak.

Yup, I'm definately waiting for JD's 6.1 ROM. I have no freezes on the Sprint 209 rom that he built.

I just updated to the new alltel rom 3.35.671.9 radio 3.37.20
did the 1 2 3 files installed the gps enable cab
reset,then started google maps


this is the first time it hasnt said gps not present error message.

But it has been like 10 mins and it says across teh top of google maps

39kb. Seeking GPS Satelites (0)...

it did how ever move from San Fransico to my Home town, but stil shows 0 gps... any idea?

Also for some reason with the new rom, the phone program will not work. Ill keep pressing the talk button, and nothing happens, and a soft reset fixes it. I even stopped cprog.exe and of course the OS re-activated it but it still didnt work.

I know there aren't fixes yet, but just reporting bugs.

and just to update, the picmail site hack is needed to view pic mail as normal. Just like all of the other unofficial roms. (this may have been discussed already)

I had that issue with the alltel rom too ...... however I thought that it may had been a error in my phone however after a couple of presses mine would open the phone program ...... but you also have to remember that they originally did not include gps drivers with the rom so that may have a play on it
