Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
stupid stupid noob question: I am coming from one of the custom sprint WM6.1 roms which means I previously unlocked my phone using Cokeman's unlocking tool. I decided to pull the trigger and just do this Rom now. I downloaded Cokeman's 2.31 unlocker, hooked up my phone to active sync and ran the tool. I got me into the tricolor screen but then it only took like 10 seconds and said I was at 100% (when the instructions on the screen said it would take up to 10 minutes).
Is this nirmal? Did I not need to run the "new" tool?? It seems to load up ok but now when the screen goes off it won't turn back on (I have to soft reset and the same thing happens!!) What do I need to do? I am sorry to detract from the progress of this thread. I have read this thread from the beginning and don't remember anyone having this problem. thanks! edit: I go into the bootloader screen and it does say "VOGU100 MFG SPL-2.31.CoKe CPLD-3 However, I cannot get out of standby - once the screen turns off, nothing will "wake it up." I have heard of problems like this with the vogue but never had it before this new bootloader...any recommendations? Last edited by matthew23; 04-25-2008 at 11:49 AM. |

I did this and verified that it say 2.31. Am I ok to flash the alltel rom? If I want to revert back to my old rom after that can I?
