Same here, I thought my speaker was blown. It happened after I replaced the audiopara file. Hard reset fixed it here.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

youre not going to get a real speed test result using a server based browser like opera mini or skyfire, the speed tests are actually testing the servers speed.. not your phone.
so its best to use pie.. but me, i hook my phone to my pc as a modem and do a speed test for a more reliable result.

okay, ive noticed this so far..
if you dont use gps for a while it definately turns off.
when you wanna fire up a map you have to wait about 2 min for a lock.. once you get that lock you can close and open gps apps many times and you wont have to wait for a lock. Theres obviously a timer that tells the gps to turn off when not being used...

Thanks Torx. I just tested connected to my laptop. Here is the result:

Just as a test, I drove 45 miles home from work with GPS on the whole way tracking my route via Live Search. It never stopped. I did notice earlier though that it does go off if not being used. I just started the GPS finder software and then went back to live search which took less than 20 seconds for a lock.

You could be right. Too bad we don't all live in Florida. That state is covered in a huge blanket of EVDO Rev-A from Sprint and VZW.

Hah. Don't you believe it. I have terrible coverage in my area (central coast, Atlantic side).
