. I'm not sure how to test the speed of my connection on my phone though, and im not even sure if Bell supports revA.
best thing to do is connect your phone via cable, turn on internet sharing, assign your pc to auto dhcp/dns, so basically at this point your phone is your modem (make sure you disconnect your current modem so as to not misrepresent speed test results...

then goto speakeasy speed test

Ok. Loaded up just fine, let the customization run, and tested. Internet works, GPS is flashing blue dot in google maps looking for sats. Internet is super fast.

Is QuickGPS recommended?

(I apologize for double posting but this thread is moving kinda fast and I'm sure that some posts can be easily lost)

Thanks!

Its not necessary however it should make you lock on faster so yea use it. I'll bring up a link someone else posted for the HTC QuickGPS if JD's new test rom doesn't include it.

Edit: Here's the post in this thread, thank him for finding and posting

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

Anyone tried the new rom on the xv6900? If I try it will I be able to flash back to the stock rom or will my phone more than likely be bricked?
