Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
Using the Alltel ROM, I finally got my GPS to lock while I was in my car, but I must say, its NOTHING like using my BT receiver.
While driving, its like the phone can't keep up. I was using iGuidance and the little symbol would quit moving, then after driving about 1/2 mile further it jumped and caught up. I was locked on 3-4 satellites. I never saw that with my BT GPS receiver. I'm about to try the 6.1 Sprint ROM, but I can't test the driving until later.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
JD's 6.1 does not have everything for gps.
For example, look in the registry at hklm\software\htc\suplgps |

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
I hope you did not let the customization run during the Alltel rom installation. If so then your going have to flash back to the Official Sprint rom, and let the customizations run. Then reflash the Alltel rom without letting the customizations run.

if you know how to use QPST try going to the MIP and edit the profile there to sprint's .. it might help..

Any ideas on what it changes to disable the internet? I would think you should be able to change it back, maybe with the ## codes. |

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
so just to recap where we're at:
has anyone successfully flashed the alltel ro, got the REVA/gps working and then flashed JD's Sprint WM6.1 rom and have EVERYTHING still work? I want to flash but I really don't want to lose WM6.1..... thanks! |
