PLEASE NOTE: flashing just the radio (ONLY DO THIS IF YOU REMOVE THE SPL FROM THE RADIO NBH FIRST) will cause your phone to say "NO RADIO" when it boots. BUT the phone will still work just fine. It has great signal and my internet is 5x faster than it was (based on the speeds i'm getting at dslreports.com/mspeed)

I've successfully flashed it back to the stock radio with no problem.
No offense, but I'd like to see some actual upload/download speeds. I'm not necessarily doubting your claims, but I'd like some results in numbers.

I used the Second Unlocker link and then Flashed the Alltel Rom that contained the radio. At the moment i am stuck using alltels rom, witch btw isnt to bad. I havent had any sucess downgrading the bootloader to load custom roms and leave the radio intact. If ya don't mind having the alltel rom give it a try. Sprints stock rom will revert you back to factory bootload, tried it and then reflashed back to the alltel one

Yeah I have the Alltel ROM reloading as we speak. I made the mistake of trying to load JD's OEM 6.1 Sprint ROM after flashing to the new Alltel ROM and it was a flop.

I am eagerly awaiting JD's new 6.1 ROM using this new ROM version.

I posted instructions here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24906 on how to revert back to the previous SPL so you may go back to previous roms.
