I updated my Alltel PPC6800 to the newest ROM and was having the same problem. I tried dialing **228 and pressing option #3 but it told me that I couldn't update my phone this way(which was odd to me cuz I had done it that way with the old ROM)

After doing some investigating, it turned out that my 'Home SID' was listed as '1' instead of what it was supposed to be '1372'

Once I had the Home SID changed to what it was supposed to be, I didn't have the annoying flashing triangle symbol on the Today screen anymore.

I don't know if this is what's wrong with your Vogue....but if it helped at all, feel free to click "Thanks"

Ok after reading all day yesterday, through multiple forums, I still can't get my Alltel Touch to get GPS to work. The best I have gotten is about 5 miles from where I am at with google maps. Google maps has yet to find a single satelite. I have since hard reset my phone and I was wondering if someone could link me to a step by step guide on how to get my Alltel Touch to get GPS.

OK, so thanks to all that made it possible to get GPS working on teh Alltel Touch! Now...perhaps a silly question.. How do I shut it off so I am not killing the battery?
