Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
It doesn't seem like more work than a typical custom ROM installation. The only difference is installing the GPS files.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
can we revert back to our custom WM6.1 roms we have been using if this does not work for us or do we have to wait until sprint releases something "official"???

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
I just got my internet working on JD's ROM by going into Phone Settings, Services, Internet, Get Settings, then running a client-initiated IOTA.
As someone else stated though, it doesn't look like JD's has everything to get GPS working. Using a task manager, I can see the GPD device, but not the service ![]()

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
Everything working for me on the Alltell Rom (Didnt use JD's), Internet seems faster but I dont know how to check.....GPS locks in fast in all programs I've even used INAV. Thanks to everyone for their help....
on a side note...I had the swirling effect on my slcd creen before this which now is completely gone...which is extremely wierd |

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled
So has anyone gotten the GPS to work using JD's rom from this thread? I've tried and can't make it work at all. GPS was working with the altell rom, but not with JD's...

No. Nobody has gotten GPS to work on JD's ROM. Even Mindfrost is going back to the Alltel ROM.
