hgray this is awesome news. Now if we could only get all of this to work on the Sprint version.

I knew it was possible! Way to go everyone! Now all we need to do is perfect it and get it all ported over to the other carriers... and now we watch as it unfolds...

just remember even if this does get working on the Sprint Touch its not going to be any better than the leaked beta 3.xx ROM on the mogul. Its still an "assembled" ROM so its going to have issues/bugs etc until the official ROM is released. It seems rather odd they released a rev A ROM and just left out 3 dll's that would have activated gps too if it was that easy....

Normally im all up for installing the newest ROM or tweak but ive waited this long for gps i can wait another month for the official update i dont want the huge bugs Mogul users saw with data, stability, and gps and such.

i disagree this is a released rom not a internal beta rom like the titan's was

so i assume youre stock sprint rom is flawless? the leaked titan rom was a beta rom, this is an official release. any rom ever will have a few bugs, but this is totally different than the leaked mogul rom.

It is a 3+ series radio, so going by the Titan numbering convention I would assume it is Rev A enabled, but I'd still like some evidence. Even just a Rev A reference in EPST would be encouraging. Anybody checked that?

the official rom release notes say it is rev a, im not sure what more proof youre looking for.

danng look at all this fun..wish i could join iN but sadly to say my patience has ran out with HTC and WinMO and i can't stand my Touch anylonger.. i avg 3000 txt/emails a month and it has been a pain with this device.. it was cool at first but not anymore...

shhhh don't tell anyone but..... i'm getting a Blackberry tomorrow...!

well i don't know about you but i text anywhere from 6000 to 8000 times a month, and i have the bill to prove it, and i am managing just fine with my touch, in fact i can't see myself handling that load with a hardware keyboard because of the constant sliding in an out and less speed

agree which is what mogul users have a hard time accepting that they dont count sliding out the keyboard and screen rotation into the "i can text faster than a touch"

anyways back on the alltel update..... I wonder if this means Sprint's in the next few weeks too.
