Unlockers for Custom Roms on Vogue 2.31(GPS) and 0.40(nonGPS)

i am on sprint, turns out i was just being paranoid. if you hold down the power and camera button and press the soft reset button it will take you to a bootloader screen, and that is where it says that it is 2.31 unlocked. also what phone are you using? i see on your avatar it says you have a TP. I am not 100% certain but I thought this only unlocked the vogue.

I am terrified to brick my TP so I have been messing with my wife's Verizon XV6900.

Looks like the bootloader confirms the 0.41 CoKe. Thanks! I do want to try the 2.31 but in the meantime I have found contradicting info whether the GPS will work (without data plan) with the XV6900.

Ok, I probably did something stupid, but here it goes.

I ran the unlocker, and it came up saying 2.00. The RUU came up but in the instructions it said to NOT flash when it says 2.00. I read that I have to power-camera-softreset to get it to 2.31, so I did that. Now it says 2.01 and it just keeps saying that the device is not connected. What can I do?

I've got a Sprint Touch and I'm running this on Vista 32-bit.

edit: Ok, seems like I didn't get far enough to mess anything up, as I did a soft-reset and everything booted up normally. I'll try it again, but can someone tell me if what I was seeing was normal or not?

edit: Nevermind, it's all good. Unlocked and showing 2.31 now. Gonna try to flash a custom rom.

I'm on the the RGB screen, saying SPL-2.00.CoKe, and it says USB at the bottom. When I try to install with the RUU, it gives me an error saying no connection.
What's my problem?

I tried quite a few times, and it always comes to the 2.00CoKe, then asks me to disconnect and reconnect and run the RUU. Then the RUU never finds my device.

Yeah, I understand that, and I have read it. This is why I am posting to get some help. Obviously I'm not understanding the process. I know there is a step that I'm missing, I just can't figure out/find what it is.
