Re: Stock rom links for cdma touch
The Telus rom has now been added! Anyone that had a "bricked" telus device from the alltel update and still has the phone can now unbrick it with the exe in the first post!

Re: Stock rom links for cdma touch
you can't use the unlocker from SD, can you get back to the OS? What does the 3 color screen say on it? Also what rom did you try to use and what unlocker did you try to use?

Re: Stock rom links for cdma touch
I have the same problem (Verizon as well). This is the 2nd Touch i've had; the first one everything went smoothly... This time I'm stuck.
I ran Coke 2.31; ran to the point of Coke loading the RUU, on reboot it byp***** the BL and shows a PPC WM boot screen, however it hangs there...On the PC I hit CTRL+C to end the Coke batch file, let the phone sit about 2 hours, reset the phone back into BL MODE; back to boot loader it still says SPL-0.36.0000. I tried running RUU again on the PC with a VzW signed rom from http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=19071 which just says it can't find device. I've tried the unbrick method on http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24906 however that just as described above gets to the grey loading... screen and hangs. Any ideas? I've tried connecting via USB and loading a signed VZA

Re: Stock rom links for cdma touch
i'm also trying to get the stock (verizon) rom installed. i got a little farther than the guys from the previous post.
I got the voguimg.nbh from unlocker 2.31, renamed to voguimg.nbh as per instructions, copied to the SD card (fat32). then I used the verizon vx6900 "signed" nbh image (renamed it to voguimg.nbh) on the sd card . the bootloader picked it up and installed it "successfully". however when I reboot, the same old custome rom "windows mobile" banner still comes up and it hangs. FYI: I have a HTC Touch vx6900 (Verizon). i flashed a custom rom (sprint-based) and upgraded the radio to 3.xxx (also sprint-based). I'm using a 1GB SD card in formatted with fat32. bootloader says spl-2.31 coke cpld-3. Anyway, i'm still stock! Cokeman, can you help? |

Re: Stock rom links for cdma touch
I have had major issues trying to get the internet to work on a cellular south vogue following rom upgrades the few files I have found for cellular south will not even load. I have a second phone that was just purchased and has a factory rom on it; Can i dump the rom off of the new phone and load the old one back to factory rom. I have the coke bootloader and I upgraded to sprint radio for gps and accidentally let the customizations run. I have tried other roms and am currently running bell and I need to start back from scratch and can not find instructions for backing up the fatory rom off the phone. Please Help!
