ImCokeMan, If you can help me, personally with this I will be willing to donate $80 to you with pleasure, my word. Where is the thread. I'd rather pay you than buy another phone.
All I'm getting now is a "HTC Smart Mobility" screen.

Check this thread:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=24906

But use this rom instead of the sprint one:

If you want more help please send me a PM with any more specific details, its easier to keep track of individuals issues for me that way.

Verizon rom has issues maybe. I had to use epst to change the SPC to 000000 before it would OTA. Now the voice side works but Im constantly roaming with fluctuating signal despite I was at one point 20 feet from a vzw cell site and when I try to connect to data I get username/password failure. Ive already manually programmed it using the same settings on my 6700 but it seems there is something there forcing it to connect to Alltel or Sprint.

It hasn't been released from verizon, the only option is the dumped one. If you went to GPS i still don't recommend going back, but other radios will still work for verizon so the specific one from your carrier should not be needed.

So the verizon one should work for verizon? I want GPS if I can so what links do i need to go to/download to mke my touch see verizon's evdo network and connect and not be roaming? I apologize if i sound pushy... but ive been at this for 2 weeks with their tech support and its frustrating.

I also just flashed back to the verizno stock rom and get the same username/password error when i try to connect to the internet, and also when i try to make a local call it tells me im being connected to an external operator so i can pay. Does anyone know a fix?

Edit: I just reflashed to a ppckitchen cooked rom that had been working fine b4 i tried to flash to the verizon stock rom listen in the OP, but i still have the problem. Please, is there anything that can be done? Everything was working well in regards to phone/messaging/internet before i tried to go back to the verizon stock rom. It also does not say "Verizon Wireless" on the HTC home above the clock anymore on the ppckitchen rom. It did on the verizon stock, and it also did on the ppckitchen before i flashed back to verizon stock, but now it does not on ppckitchen.

The first post says to use the stock roms with the old unlocker. Will they absolutely not work with the newer unlocker?
