I just flashed your lastest ROM and was curious how can get the text messaging to work. I can recieve messages but cant send?? GPS and Internet work.

GPS works AWESOME by the way.... THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!

So if something can be done to use Alltel network (my carrier) that would be great...

if you are running v11 of derek's ROM then you have the old bootloader.

there are a couple of ways you could do this. you could just go ahead and upgrade to the leaked ROM, then upgrade to the 2.31 unlocker, then flash derek's ROM. but i honestly can't promise you that won't brick your device. i haven't read anything about anyone doing that but it theoretically should work.


or you could follow the steps here. being sure you read them very carefully just at step 8 instead of flashing the alltel ROM, flash the sprint leaked ROM. then go ahead and flash derek's ROM.

^obligatory disclaimer, i'm no guru by any means, but i have had some experience. i take no responsibility if something goes wrong.^

I am currently running OMJ's April 30th rom, and it is working really good except for the flaky GPS issues, 2.31 unlocker and 3.17.10 radio.

I see allot of the new roms with the leaked sprint radio 3.17.15 and/or the cooked roms based on the new leaked rom are having problems with the internet speeds, is looks like the GPS is working better tho.

Can anyone that has loaded Dereks V.20 rom comment on the speeds they are getting on internet connections and any major bugs with this latest rom.

I think I seen a battery hack on a thread, anyone know about it, does it work, is it being used on OEM on cooked roms?
