Anyone having trouble installing touchpal v3 on the 20.1 rom... I did a search but no one seemed to have trouble with it... It install up to where i need to reboot, but its not there where i reboot...

Any tips or help... I tried installing sipchange still no luck, main or storage memory wont change....

Balkar - You need to go back to the Touchpal website and download the .cab for a windows mobile device running 6.1.... that should clear everything up.

Do any of you guys use TCPMP (any version) or Core Player successfully with this ROM? I am having issues running v0.72 and Beta v0.81. It crashes everytime I try to start it up and I get a crash error notification. I also tried Core Player and it just doesnt start up when I click on it at all. Any suggestions or is this case isolated?

Hugo - I haven't been able to use tcmp or core either with this rom, but that is really my only gripe. I believe the HTC video that is on this ROM conflicts with tcmp/core.

Derek???? Any ideas on this?

Just one small bug, with this new keyboard the password keyboard isn't coming up it's still using the standard keyboard(XT9/ABC). I use remote desktop apps a lot and some apps only recognize the password keyboard. I know there was a similar problem in v17/v18 which you did fix so hoping it's the same fix for this.

Other than that it's great.

It should still use the 20 key keyboard, but when you type, it should display the letter and then hide it with the *.

Is there anything I can do in the registry to force the old style password keyboard up? Right now the only thing working for my main remote desktop s/w (logmein) is the super ghetto built in WM keyboard...and it's not very finger friendly!

At a minimum you should be able to use the HTC Full qwerty board.

I don't use the software so can't comment.

If that was the case believe me I would not have even made a comment about it. I tried downloading other keyboard cabs but it seems like nothing has fixed it--and using the WM 'keyboard' sucks! I know you mentioned using a different Vogue Keyboard before than the ones floating around here, would you mind posting it. I really want to try fix this on my own rather than bug you for a revision.

For your reference I also dug up a post regarding your fix with it before in case it can jog your memory on a possible fix for the issue:

I used the keyboard from Alltell ROM and it is a little different. On some password fields it stays in the xt9 keyboard and briefly shows the letter you typed before changing it to a start ( on Windows Messenger ). On PIE, it went to the full qwerty board.

This new KB behaves like the alltell one did, but your 19.1 release reverted to the classic keyboard which fixed the problem. At least I'm hoping that's all you did in which case I can just grab that specific cab from you.
