I agree, I'd like to see this too on my alltel 6700. The screen shots look great and I imagine the radio is even faster so could someone definitely see about doing this for us beloved 6700 alltel users...?

Not seeing USB

Once Active sync dies, and the bootloader comes up (colored screen) my computer sees the new USB device (Microsoft Qualcomm CDMA Technologies MSM) as a device, but not as a connected device.

Thus the bootloader errors out from loss of connection. Do I need some kind of driver for this?

Well, it finally worked for me, don't ask me why, but it suddenly showed up, and the RUU worked.

However I can't get FLO to work now...

after unlocking ,will the merged wm6 and wm6.1 rom be a turnkey rom? I am basically only interested in the threaded text messaging with out the loss of OZ and sprint tv since i use them daily. I have flashed alot of roms on my apache but it seems like sprint has put a lock down on touch only programs.

Downloaded files.....still feel to scared even after reading every page of this forum...
Maybe I need to cut back on the highgrade......cause I would love to do this but not without step by step instructions...and its cool that you feel that we newbs all have to earn our stripes (agreed to a point) but something as serious as this... All I have to say is some people need to leave the snobbery and geek cred to rest. The reason I joined this board was so I could learn not be condescended to by people hiding behind a "handle" (cb slang) and a keyboard. Not that I feel that I have been directly posted to in this way. Just a feeling I had after going through this forum....

"volcano rip" cough cough cough

Seriously help a newb out post step by step

If someone would like to post step by step instructions, I would be more than happy to put it on the first page. It seems that vogue users are less familiar with ROM flashing than titan users.

rule of thumb: if you don't feel comfortable doing something, then don't do it. Im sorry if I offend anyone here, but honestly there are things that require more than a cursory knowledge. Its that way in everything in life. Sometimes you have to learn it to earn it. That said, Ill try and post a step by step as soon as I upgrade (tomorrow at the earliest).

So, have patience.

I was a first time user about a hour ago...
download the Vogue Unlocker for CDMA @ ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/ImCoKeMaN
Follow the instructions on how to unlock your Vogue from the console that pops up after you execute the unlocker program STEP BY STEP
After it's flashed either you can flash it with the ROM downloaded on the first page of this post (ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/no2chem) or you can download VogueRUU.rar (ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Vogue/Users/ImCoKeMaN/) and extract it into the folder you put the extracted rom
Now performed the CokeRom Loader reset (Power Button+Camera Button+reset button I believe) then wait till windows installs the files then execute ROMUpdateUtility.exe and follow instructions again and it should work
someone can verify but thats what I did.
