Re: Weird stuck on black Touch Pro bootup screen problem
Turn off phone. Hold volume down and power at same time. Just for fun take out sd card before you do it. If it shows 0.37.0000 then it is locked. If it shows 0.37.COMEX it is unlocked. If you are flashing the current release sprint rom MR 2.01.651.6 it relocks your phone and makes it 0.40.000

Re: Weird stuck on black Touch Pro bootup screen problem
Its unlocked like I said, I even checked. Im not able to flash anything. I cannot get a connection with active sync, I did the hard reset... The phone restarted installing for EnergyROM and when its almost done installing it restarts by itself ive tried a total of 9 times to far -.- it never gets any farther... thats why im not able to get a connection in active sync either to try to flash to something else..

Re: Weird stuck on black Touch Pro bootup screen problem
You can flash in boot loader (tri colored screen) without active sync. You can also flash from sd card. Loging off and going to phone. Contact me from AOL IM jpwhre, or windows msnger xjcountry93 and yahoo same xjcountry93. Reply back here to let me know as I am using phone as wifi router for pc before I log off. Or send me email to xjcountry93 at gmail

Re: Weird stuck on black Touch Pro bootup screen problem
Update:
I tried flashing to the stock rom but now after it completes customization I'm right back in the same boat. Even the stock rom won't boot past the touch pro screen after it completes customization and does it's initial soft reset. All of this could have been caused by a bad rom from NRG? I don't get how the issues could still be there after all of this hard reseting and flashing other roms. Just so we are clear. Hard Reset: With the phone off (pull battery and replace battery) Press and hold the center circle button (enter), Volume Down, and the power button in that order. Hold until a screen warns you that this will restore your default settings. Press the Volume up button to continue. |
