Help with switching my new TP from Sprint to Cricket

Hi, i am kinda a noob and was wondering if anyone can help me flash my phone to cricket. i already unlocked it and i ran the rom update utility and put a "cricket rom" on it that someone posted and when i switched the esn with cricket my old phone doesn't work and they said to call *228. i do this and it says "your account cannot be verified, please call customer service" someone please help
