Re: Screwed around in Registry, phone is TOTALLY messed up. Help?

Pull the battery and put it back in. Now that your phone is off hold the center button (sometimes to me it feels like there are two levels of pushed, really pushed and pushed. Don't go to really pushed, stop at pushed.). While holding the center button in the "pushed" position hold volume down and then hold power. After holding for about 5 seconds the hard reset screen will come up. At this time you can release the buttons. Press Volume up to hard reset. When it is done it will ask you to press volume up again to complete the process.

Good luck.

I got to the tri-color screen but after that my volume buttons still seem to not be working because I press the up volume button and nothing happens. DAMN! That was close

Play around with how far you are holding the center button. Try pressing the center button down all the way. You are getting to bootloader instead of the reset screen. The reset screen is just gray, not tri-colored.

You, sir, are my hero.

I literally thought I was screwed. It's loading everything up and all is good.

I will, for now on, steer clear of Total Commander.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

yeh if u want you can call up sprint and tell em you have had an issue with your touch pro you performed a hard reset wich did not correct the issues you woukd go into a store but you would rather they ship it to you hopefully theey say they cannot send u one (if u had more than 3 replacements) so u say u will just have to get it replaced via assurion but you want them to credit the account as its your 4th time with that issue and then just get assurion to charge your account..
