Asurion replacing TP with TP2

TEP is Total Equipment Protection i believe. its basically the insurance for your phone in any case of liquid, physical ...or mental damage lol.

anyways my story:

I've been following this thread and been calling Sprint, assurion, and local stores and also visiting the stores. I almost had my hand on a TP2 but I had to go into a store to 'verify no liquid damage' -__- when I called back all of a sudden the list is deteriorating!

I called and called, trying each of the stories you guys put in....unfortunately no one gives in. I tried demanding and also being nice lol still nothing. Guess I'm just the unlucky guy in Florida (anyone here had success in FL?)

anyways as a question to whoever, do we have to wait until TP1s are OOS and TP2s are in before we get those options or is it just the fact that they hate me? haha.

With that $7 includes 3 claims in a 12 month period which you can claim through Asurion [Sprint's 3rd party insurance company]

Without the $7 TEP addon you will not be able to call Asurion or file at www.phoneclaim.com for a claim which costs $100. [Non smartphones/pdas are $50 a claim]

If you have the $4 phone protection plan that covers in store repairs. This does not include getting your phone fixed if it has water damage. Sometimes they wont even fix it if your phone was broken in half. I believe there are different terms with the $4 protection plan now.

are you talking to the supervisors or the CS? try the weekend story with the CS as they are more gullible as suppose to the supers. it only took me 2mins to have the CS process my order.

Hi im calling back because i had made my decision with the list of phone i was offer over the weekend. I was offered the Treo pro, htc snap, TP2, BB tour, and samsung. ive reviewed the specs of the phone and i would like the TP2 please, thank you.

if it failed call again, but i think its probably better if the supers are not involed as this weekend story is gonna get flagged soon.

Thanks. So all I would have to do is add Asurion to my plan to get covrage on my TP? would I be able to get it today and call them tomorrow sayin my phone is broken and want a TP2? lol.

thanks for the advice i'll call them again right now! lol i think theyre noting my account not to give in to me xD i've been trying it with the CS and they're telling me it can only replace itself. but ill call now and update on what happened
