tethering speeds

ok.... I used tethering for my 6700 and 6800 and now im using the tp and maybe the tp2 soon but recently i started using tethering again.

w/ the 6700 and 6800 i used to get about 238 mbps. but w/ the tp using the same "internet fix" but using the active sync drivers connection im hitting only 10-13 mbps.

is there a way to get my 238 mbps back?

Re: tethering speeds

All I can say is this is what I get and I am tethering right now.

I sometimes hit 1.5 in the middle of the night.

or he's testing using Opera on the phone...which caches the site, so results are not accurate at all.

Re: tethering speeds

Agree with above. Those figures are impossible using current cell technology.

Re: tethering speeds

Wow! I know my TP is slower than my Mogul when it comes to tethering but not that slow. There must be something wrong if its that slow, are you having trouble browsing with your laptop while tethering? What ROM/Radio are you using?
