I upgraded on Friday and so far I haven't noticed a significant change one way or the other. I'm sure you checked, but you might want to verify that your email, aps, etc. are setup they same way it was before you made the change since direct push will drain it dry quickly.
**Update** Monday - after 12 hours of use with several calls and emails - 30% battery left. So far today after 6 hours of use - 59% battery left
