Sprint replacing Touch Pro with Touch Pro 2! - Page 50

I was told over the phone from my local corporate owned Sprint store today that the company has discontinued the option of upgrading Touch Pro customers to the Touch Pro 2 because of the high number of returns due to the memo being leaked over the internet. Greed may have blown it for everyone with chronic legitimate problems.

This is why I was saying that it's stupid for people to bring in a print out of the screen cap of the internal memo. It's like when you call in to confirma a price mistake, you kill the deal. Same concept. I guess there will always be someone that does something to kill it for everyone. I guess no TP2 for me

Thats BS. The memo says that we should get a different model for the defective Touch Pro. I dont care how many of you guys say "Oh if you have no legit reason then its fraud". I am pretty sure everyones Touch Pro get super hot when charging or browsing the internet. Plus how many of you guys have the ugly chrome chipping for just a 2 foot drop? I know I do. The list goes on. Its the Sprint Stores that dont want to help out. Honestly I know alot of you guys are tired of going to the Sprint store to get your phones fixed. I spent more than a hour at a Sprint Store just to pick up my fixed Touch Pro. This is bs. We are just using their guns against them. (MEMO = GUNS LOL)

Well that sucks.. and my touch pro is busted (Screen orientation sensor is whacky and the screen changes directions on its own). I guess I'll wait another day or so to see if this is true before doing the advanced exchange online for another crappy touch pro

yeah but then you have to pay for the BB service. I am on a SWAC plan and pay 20.00 a month plus TEP. ON a WM device I get unlimited data, text, bla blah blah. so for me to get a tour I then have to double the cost of my plan so I can get the same services except on a BB. Seems pretty ignorant for someone in my position. If you are already on an Everything Plan then it is no big deal or a SERO plan that you can getthe BB added for no charge.
