He is not the only one, I got mine the same way. I called CS told them a sprint store offered me a TP2 as a replacement but they couldn't order it due to the fact that it's not in stock she said they order from the same warehouse so she would not guarantee that she could get it for me, but when she checked there were some in stock, she said I got lucky because they go really fast and she ordered it for me.

What number?
What terms?
Do you have insurance?
Do you have multiple exchanges?
What exactly did you say, and why did they offer you guys one, whereas everyone else has only Snaps and Blackberry's and such offered as replacements? :scratch:

For me, after two weeks and a now, barely functioning refurbished TP replacement, on Monday, a manager from a store I didn't visit (closer to my house) informed me that they were ordering me a TP2 to replace my TP. Executive Customer Care called me Tuesday to confirm that the TP2 would be in the store today. I went to the store Executive Customer Care told me to go to and after a few phone calls, they said that Executive Customer Care had had the TP2 sent to the other store closer to my home and I'll pick it up on my way home.

IF it's there. We'll see.

I just called CS (*2) told them that the repair center offered me a TP2 in exchange for my TP but that they were out of stock and that they told me to call CS directly, I told them that this is my 4th device(which it is) and that was it nothing fancy.

And whether contacting a CS rep over the phone, or visiting corp stores and repair centers, or trying to do an advanced exchange online as a last resort, nothing has worked for me personally thus far. Nothing.

Did you stop to think for a minute that perhaps it's totally capricious, and the actual chances of getting one are about as slim as being struck by lightning in MOST places and with most reps.

This is no different than adding a SERO line to your account.
Some people call 50 times before being able to successfully do it, others can get lucky after 1 or 2 tries.
It may just be that I should leave well enough alone and not get my account flagged for calling in excessively and asking every which way 2-3 times a day.

alot of people got one. they just followed some of the steps outlined in this thread. that's how i got one. it can be done, it just takes patience because i didn't get it on the 1st try. not picking on you, it's just that your questions from earlier have been covered in this thread.

I've read that I can get a replacement phone if I am on the Warranty. I don't have tep or any insurance policy. I have had my phone for 11 months.

I have brought my phone in 2 times for problems. I still have overheating, battery dies in 2 hours, and my gps always crashes when I get on the phone.

They have replaced my keyboard and screen once (it stopped responding). Am I still able to upgrade to a TP2 if I do the above or am I not qualified?

From what I've read, yes. They should still be able to work on your phone/replace it if it is still under the 12 month warranty.

I believe I read that a few have been able to get a TP2 without TEP or a service plan, I am betting it may be harder though...
