IV HAD IT! anything you guys suggest?

hey guys, first off ill let you know that i have SEARCHED so please dont tell me to. i love my touch pro, and been flashing custom roms for a while now. and after i had the phone for a while i relized right AWAY that there is a battery issue. read around and people seem to have increadible batt life using NFS rom, so i switched to that and i googled tweaks and such and found a batteryperformancetweak and i downloaded it but doesnt seem to help alot. my battery still drains VERY QUICKLY.
ill tell you this. i goto college and where i go I GET NO SERVICE maybe a bar IF i get lucky. so i think thats the issue. i downloaded diffrent radios, and non seem to help. any suggestions? what are you guys doing to keep your batt. running good? i also use S2U2 and i heard that drains it VERY quick is this true?

havent used s2 since ive been using pocketshield and minor battery drain with it. try groove rom withe the new radio, 112 i think it is, im getting great batterylife. no other battery tweaks installed except "activesynk" killer cab and beam off plus data off after 1min using diamondtweak. maybe you have a bad battery?

i would definitely say that searching for service takes a toll on the battery, as well as s2u2, and heavy usage.

I'm confused, so was that saying that we can upgrade to a Touch Pro 2 for free??

that is what it looks like to me. If your touch pro has been giving you problems, they have been authorized to give you an exchange. Only stipulation is that its one of the phones listed. Dunno if its true or not, but I am sure going to try. Printed that out and have it ready for when I go to the store today.

Was planning on going today anyway because the new TP I have is really acting screwy. Will not change orientation and the keyboard works only half the time.

well that sounds very good that they will do that but i doubt that it will work out for me. cause im on my first tp. since custom roms i never had to take it to them. but if it does work out i guess ill flash the stock back on and start showing up there more offten with problems! as for the battery. yea it sucks i dono what to do. i realy like NFS rom. what are those ACTIVESYN killer and those few tweaks you have on your phone? do they really help? any other suggestions or tweaks that might help. thanks everyone!

OH And one more thing. i wanted a taskbar (wm 6.5) that looks like energys rom cause that taskbar looks sick. and i found one that looks like it here in CUSTOM TASKBARS and downloaded it along with sdkerts or whatever its called and the battery icon SUCKS cause its just digits not like a battery icon with percent. its like 100 90 80.. ECT. and i downloaded nuebattery thats supposed to make it by 1 increments and all it says now its 0% battery when its really like 90. so i uninstalled that and it goes back to 10 increments. any suggestions on that, or a taskbar from energy with a percentage that works.

Check out the other thread about the OP hating sprint right now. I ended up getting the replacement completely hassle free. Our tech here is VERY strict about phone returns but I brought the paper in with me and she promptly asked me which phone I wanted because I was on my second touch pro.
