Wirelessly posted (HTC-P4600/1.2 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))

take it to your carriers repair center. get it fixed, then repeat 3 months later.

Re: Touch pro keyboard problem

take out the battery, open keyboard, press spacebard HARD for about 10-20 seconds, replace battery, turn on, and it should work

I too have had this problem, I took to Sprint store yesterday 10-5-09 and they said they fixed it, left store only to turn around and go back because the problem wasn't fixed....Long story short they ordered me a new phone. This seems to be a problem amongst all touch pro users.

Did they do it for free or did they charge you? Or did you have TEP and had it covered?? Everytime I go into a Sprint store, they are always trying to sell me a new phone or get into a new contract... if I say "no" then they "cant help me".

Re: Touch pro keyboard problem

Same thing happened to me yet again today. Pressing the space bar down is a temporary solution for the inevitable... replacement of the KB or phone.... 7 touch pro's down.. another refurb on its way for Monday... Too bad HTC and Sprint didn't spend a little more energy on this phone from the start...My Mogul was slower but didn't have as many problems as these.
